 "Monkey Business"

 THE BRAND NEW SINGLE

 O U T   N O W

The Terraplanes Blues Band, hailing from Bristol, UK are back with a blinding new single!

With a sound echoing the 60's British R'n'B bands with a heavy dose of Mississippi delta blues, the song Monkey Business is a song written from the heart by frontman and main songwriter Nick Scrase.

Monkey Business is themed around Scrase' life as a musician and family man along the last 10 years.

The song was recorded at bass player Craig Shaw's home, Purple Patch Studio. Mixed and produced by Nick Scrase & Craig Shaw. Mastered by Peter Bullick of Sound Discs.

Since arriving on the scene in 2020 with their debut release, an E.P called Midnight Train, the band's brand of hard hitting, soulful Rhythm & Blues has seen The Terraplanes gain a loyal following, performing headline shows at the best blues clubs & festivals the country has to offer including a memorable headline appearance at the legendary 100 club, London.

A second release in 2022 saw the band put out their first full album Stepping Stones, which joined Midnight Train in being a top 5 album on the UK IBBA Blues chart. This momentum saw the band awarded a UK Blues Award in 2023 as the 'Emerging Act Of The Year', then being selected to appear at the UK Blues Challenge as one of the most exciting blues bands on the scene today.

While continuing to tour in 2024 The Terraplanes recorded and released a live album 'Live At Temperance', which again hit the top 5 in the UK.

The Chemistry between the two founding members is the driving force of the band.

Nick Scrase' authentic guitar/vocal tones and Eduardo Allen's hi energy stage peformance and harmonica skills make for an electric live show. The band are ably supported by the tight, groove laden rhythm section of Craig Shaw (bass) & Andy Hutt (drums)

The Terraplanes are looking forward to making 2025 the year for a new album and it starts here!
